Lisa Hibl’s writing has appeared in various print journals and online magazines. A graduate of Bowdoin College, she holds an MFA from Arizona State and a doctorate in American Literature from Brandeis University. She has designed and taught environmental and literary arts at the University of Southern Maine, the University of New England, Maine College of Arts, and Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens. She maintains a perennial garden on the edge of a salt marsh on the Sassanoa River.
